Eastwood Rust Encapsulator stops rust in its tracks. This formula may be applied over existing rust to stop further corrosion forming and prevent existing rust from spreading. Rust Encapsulator seals metal parts and penetrates beneath the surface to encase rust while leaving behind a paintable surface. Rust Encapsulator can be used as a primer for a variety of topcoats, or left as-is if you prefer a low-gloss finish. The matte black finish is ideal for chassis and undercarriage rust prevention. With heat resistance up to 200 degrees C, you can also apply it to the engine bay.

Simply use a wire brush to remove loose rust, clean the surface and then apply Rust Encapsulator.
