The product is suitable for use as an exterior water sealing, stain repellent agent for masonry products including applications on highly alkaline surfaces. KBS Loxon leaves no visible film and is very easy to apply. It demonstrates excellent penetration into a variety of absorbent masonry type building materials. Making it ideally suited for most masonry and concrete sealing applications found around the home and commercial buildings. Suitable as a water repellent treatment of porous surfaces including concrete, fibrous cement products, calcium silicate brick, besser block, natural sand and limestone, plaster, mortar, render, concrete pavers, terracotta and brick (approximate spread rate of 6-8sqm per litre depending on the surface and application method, e.g. sandstone type materials will have a low spread rate and concrete and brick will be higher.)
