KBS Diamond Finish is a permanent high solids moisture curing custom Topcoat. Diamond Finish is the latest development in ultra high performance topcoats with very high solids (over 60%) and low VOCs.
Diamond Finish once cured is incredibly tough and hard like no other clear coat you have ever used. This glossy topcoat remains permanently flexible and is able to perform in the toughest environments including Australias highest UV applications without yellowing or cracking.
Diamond Finish can be applied by brush (without leaving brush marks), roller and conventional spray gun easily and unlike normal 2 Pak coatings no hardener is needed! Just stir and go! Diamond Finish Clear Coat will cure without heat or UV lights in temperatures from 6C to 30C.
Diamond Finish can be applied directly to cured Automotive and industrial primers and standard solid colour paints. Diamond Finish is able to withstand the harshest of chemicals including, fuels, solvents, Battery acid, Brake fluid, Ethanol, Methanol, MEK, Hydrochloric Acid, Fertilizers, and Acetone. And because Diamond Finish is so resistance to these materials it means Graffiti just wont stick, and can be removed simply with a solvent soaked rag. Diamond Finish is able to perform in the high temperature automotive applications including the use on cylinder heads, engine blocks, brake components even inlet manifolds, without yellowing up to 155 C.
