KBS Diamond Finish ClearCoat is a permanent high solids moisture curing custom Clear Coat. Diamond Finish ClearCoat is the latest development in ultra high performance clear coats with very high solids (over 60%) and low VOCs.
Diamond Finish ClearCoat once cured is incredibly tough and hard like no other clear coat you have ever used. This water clear 100% wet gloss clear coat remains permanently flexible and is able to perform in the toughest environments including Australia’s highest UV applications without yellowing or cracking.
Diamond Finish ClearCoat can be applied by brush (without leaving brush marks), roller and conventional spray gun easily and unlike normal 2 Pak coatings no hardener is needed! Just stir and go! Diamond Finish Clear Coat will cure without heat or UV lights in temperatures from 6C to 30C.
Diamond Finish can be applied directly to cured Automotive basecoat, Standard solid colour paints, Single pak and Two pak paints and Non Ferrous metals* including Aluminium, Alloys, Brass, Chrome and Copper.
Diamond Finish is able to withstand the harshest of chemicals including, fuels, solvents, Battery acid, Brake fluid, Ethanol, Methanol, MEK, Hydrochloric Acid, Fertilizers, and Acetone. And because DiamonFinish is so resistance to these materials it means Graffiti just won’t stick, and can be removed simply with a solvent soaked rag.
Diamond Finish is able to perform in the high temperature automotive applications including the use on cylinder heads, engine blocks, brake components even inlet manifolds, without yellowing up to 155 C.
